Donnie McClurkin Announces Departure From Recording Industry (WATCH)

(AUG 12) A bittersweet moment! Almost 30 years and 8 albums later, gospel legend Donnie McClurkin has announced that he will be leaving the recording industry. McClurkin's self-titled first album, 'Donnie McClurkin', was released on October 29, 1996.

The vocal powerhouse shared a warmhearted and jubilant video on his social media platform, encouraging his supporters to be on the lookout for a brand new musical project, entitled 'Finally'. He shared that the album will be his final recording, stating, "It is a work of love, saying thank you and farewell to the recording industry for leaving a mark that will glorify God."

Social media users took to the comments to express their love and support for the artist and to celebrate his incredible legacy.
